I’m Joe Frohne, a hobby photographer.

I started Photo Ninja as a place to share my photography. I am a casual photographer still learning to do the best with the equipment I have. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

Cameras have always been around my house growing up. My father always had a camera and apparently mom had a more current Polaroid than the folding camera my father is holding below. I believe the camera is a 1960 Polaroid Land camera.

I got my first camera, a Canon AE1 Program, when I was in high school in 1985. I’ve had Canon cameras for many years and recently switched to Nikon.
